Dear Parents,
I am writing to inform you of a significant change to our summer programming. Due to resource constraints, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Vacation Bible School (VBS) scheduled for the week of July 15th.
Over the past few years, managing two summer camps has been challenging. It has been increasingly difficult to fill both camps and to find enough volunteers to ensure a high-quality experience. Unfortunately, this year, we do not have the resources necessary to put on VBS.
We are planning some Picnics in the Park this summer from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Jenkins Ranch Park on Monday, June 17, Thursday, July 11, and Wednesday, August 7. Please bring your own lunch, and Summit Kids will provide water, juice, and popsicles.
We understand that this may be disappointing news and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Your feedback is very important as we strive to offer the best possible programs for our community. Also, if you have made a donation for VBS and would like to pick it up from Ashleigh, please email her to schedule a time for pick up.
