Rachel circle will meet at 1:30 p.m. on April 9, 2025 in the La Plata Room. Margaret Wilhite will be hostess. There will be no program to allow for a short meeting and visiting. The group voted to have minimal refreshments and to bring their own drinks. So, please bring your drink and also bring one dozen cookies for Rooted. All ladies are invited to attend this meeting.
Crafty Ladies will meet every Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. Guests are also welcome.
At the last meeting, a question was heard about McCurdy Ministries. A quick history of the school was given. A recent newsletter from McCurdy was found with short articles about activities at McCurdy. Some of the articles were about a food pantry, a clothing bank with clothes for students, a pre-k, an after school care program, and a new literacy program. McCurdy Ministries is supported by United Methodist Church Global Ministries Advance #581479 and by United Women in Faith.
