Dear Summit Church Family,
I wanted to share with you that I will be stepping down from my role as Director of Caring Ministries to pursue a Master’s in School Counseling and a new job with the Southern Ute Tribe’s Education Department. It’s a bittersweet change – I’ve learned so much from the amazing staff and volunteers here at Summit Church since joining the staff in July 2021. However, this isn’t “goodbye”! Wade, Haines, Wade, and I love Summit, and plan to continue worshipping with you all. We especially appreciate how you have welcomed our boys and are helping us raise them in a church where they feel loved and at home.
Working at Summit has truly shown me that God is still at work in the world- and that He can use each of us. I’ve seen it in the way you all step up to care for each other and our community. It’s been an inspiration and a gift to witness, and I carry that with me as I move forward. Thank you for everything – your friendship, encouragement, and for being such a wonderful church family.
With love and gratitude,
Julia
