Those of you who have been in Durango for a while may remember the Lent Ecumenical services and soup suppers. Well…they’re back! During the season of Lent, each Wednesday at 6:00pm, beginning March 12, one of the churches here in Durango will have a prayer service, followed by a soup supper hosted by that church at 6:30pm. We will be hosting here at Summit on Wednesday, April 9. And if you were wondering, ecumenical is the fancy word for “churches working together”.

Prayer services start at 6:00pm, usually lasting about 30 minutes. The Hosting Congregation also provides a soup supper to follow. | |
